The Sixth parliament of the second republic has on Tuesday unanimously approved engineer Vandi French as Deputy Director General of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority SLRA.
Making his contribution during the approval debate, the Leader of the opposition All People’s Congress APC, Hon Abdul Kargbo, expressed delight for the appointment of Engineer Vandi French.
He said that the sentiment members of Parliament have ahared on the astuteness of Ing. Vandi French speak volume of his patriotic nature.
He maintained that Ing French has served SLRA and rose through the rank, informing that he has no iota of doubt in serving in the capacity as Deputy Director General of SLRA.
In his contribution to the debate, Hon Member of Parliament from Kono, Musa Fofana praised the work of SLRA engineers for their professional job in ensuring trunk and feeder roads are completed.
He called on SLRA to ensure that they completed the four bridges that were commissioned before the election which include, Thompsray bridge, Matru Jung bridge and others.
