Management of Ecobank has on January 13, 2023 handed over a brand new motorbike to one Micah Richards and seven others who won smart phones and cash prizes.
The prizes were won courtesy of the ‘Save and Win’ draw, organized on December 30th at the Ecobank Head Office at Light-Foot Boston Street in Freetown.
The ‘Save and Win Draw’ is part of the two mini-draws to be organized before the final draw when lucky savers at Ecobank will go home with a brand new car. For each of the two mini-draws, lucky savings customers will grab one motorbike, 2 smart Samsung mobile phones and one thousand new Leones for five savers each.
Speaking at the event, Sahr Musuyamasu, Acting Head of Customer Bank,recalls that on October 21st, 2022 Ecobank Sierra Leone launched the on-going savings campaign and promised to give out prizes ranging from cash, smart phones, motorbikes, tricycles and a brand new car.
“At Ecobank, we do what we say we will, that is why we invited you here today to be part of the first of the planned two mini-draws to place before the day when one of our lucky savers will go home with a brand new car,” he stated.
He encouraged customers to continue saving more cash with Ecobank so that they will be part of the next two draws to win amazing prizes, assuring customers that the money they save today will also save them tomorrow.
While handing over the motorcycle to Micah Richards, Winston Williams, Head of Cooperate Bank encouraged Sierra Leoneans to see the need for saving. He said the save and win process was not only transparent but also free and fair.
Newsmen were allowed to observe, assess and evaluate the process to ensure the credibility for the validation of the eligible account holders of the save and win process for being free and fair.
In his closing remark, Kingsley Emezue, Head of Customer Products and Business said the maiden save and win draw was to encourage customers to continue saving as there are several goodies that awaits more customers until February and April 2023 when more customers will win precious prizes.
“Those of you watching, listening or reading this news, what are you waiting for?,”, he questioned, adding that it is never too late for those who yet to open a savings account with the Bank.
He said between now to April this year, customers may save above NLe 5000 may be lucky to win motorbike and other fat prizes, adding that those who will save above NLe 10,000 and above NLe 20,000 may be lucky to win tricycle, brand new car and other attractive przes.
