Wusum Stars FC Head Coach,Abdul Rahman Turay, has been given a two-match ban following his straight red card during their 1-2 defeat to promoted side, Real Republicans at Angola field last Thursday 5 January 2023.
The ban means that coach Turay will miss the Sierra Leone Premier League clash against Might Blackpool in Makeni and the away trip to Freetown City FC on Sunday 15 January 2023.
Coach Turay was not the only one ban for two matches, also his player, Ishmael A Kanu,
who was also given a straight red.
Wusum Stars have only managed a single win in their previous 6 league matches.
Their recent away defeat to Real Republicans is a bad start for the Northern Boys who finished the third position in the previous league.
With a slow start in the 2022/23 season, the club has recorded just a win by edging Central Parade to be renamed Wilberforce Football Club 2-0 at home on New Years’ day.
