It was so happy and sweet seeing ordinary Sierra Leoneans smile during these hard times of the rainy season.
On Monday, 22nd July, was exceptional as Mercury International put smiles on the faces of many in Freetown and other parts of the country.
Various valuable items, including Samsung Smart Phones, laptops, plasma TVs, and a motorcycle for lucky winners of the Mercury Online Euro Raffle games, were taken away.
Managing Director Martin Edmond Michael was humble to recognize the challenges of the torrential rains in Freetown and it’s consequences and sympathized with the public during these difficult times but went further to say that Mercury International also cares and will continue to focus on the issue and is dedicated to supporting the public through their promos and corporate social responsibility roles.
After these pleasantries, it was time for the smiles to beam in the faces of the winners as PR Manager Alhaji Komba did the needful by calling on them (lucky winners) that have been notified of their winnings to come on stage and receive their prizes.
Amongst the items, they bagged included plasma TVs, Samsung Phones, laptops, and above all, a motorcycle as the top prize of the day.
The luckiest winner of them, Abu Koroma, was speechless when Mr. Martin handed over a brand-new motorcycle to him. However, he mustered courage and managed to utter few words to others by saying that “Mercury International is for the Poor Man…Let’s play it.”
Abu used the occasion to call on everyone to play Mercury responsibly and assured that the company was credible enough to honor winnings, unlike others in the country.
In an interview with newsmen, Abu warned the public that it must be careful investing their interests and pennies with other companies as they do not guarantee them safe wins but with Mercury, he confirmed that the company can guarantee a “safe bet, assured winning and responsible and timely payment”
Mr. Martin Edmond Michael reassured the public that more winnings would be honored and presented to those who deserve them by playing Mercury and winning.
Martin further stated that the company has lined up a series of promotions to be unveiled in the coming days of the week onto the end of July and early August.

Media Personality and Rights Campaigner John Koroma, who witnessed the event, presented one of the Sam Sung Phones to a lucky winner and testified the goodness of Mercury International to the public
Mr. Koroma said Mercury International is the best betting company in Sierra Leone and expressed satisfaction with the company’s commitment to alleviating the social, economic, and financial constraints of ordinary people suffering due to lack of jobs, business, or money in the pocket to buy or sell or eat.
