In a bid to solve the economic crisis in the country, the Presidential Candidate for Republic National Independent Party (ReNIP), Beresford Victor Williams, has secured 185 institutional investors as business partners for the country.

Speaking to this medium on Monday 12th June, Williams said that securing international investors is a significant achievement, as it will help to boost the Sierra Leonean economy and create jobs with advanced expertise.

He said the investors will come from various countries including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Asia, adding that they are interested in investing in Sierra Leone to transform the country into a developed nation.

The ReNIP leader said the investors would invest in the country’s tourism industry and expand the country to a middle-class economy.

Williams said that the investment from the institutional investors is a vote of confidence in Sierra Leone’s future under his leadership.

“The investment from the institutional investors is a major breakthrough for Sierra Leone. It will help to boost the country’s economy and create jobs. This is good news for the people of Sierra Leone, who have been struggling for many years. I have done the impossible to secure these business partners and investors. This will show the confidence under my leadership,” he said.

He said some of the benefits that the investment from the institutional investors will bring to Sierra Leone include increased economic growth, improved infrastructure, increased job creation, and improved living standards among others.

In the area of increasing economic growth, Williams said the investors will help to boost Sierra Leone’s economy by providing the much-needed capital which will lead to increased economic growth, create jobs and improve the lives of the Sierra Leoneans.

In the area of infrastructure, he said the investors will improve Sierra Leone’s infrastructure by constructing roads, schools, and hospitals.

In the area of job creation, he said the investors will create jobs for youths in different sectors, including mining, agriculture, constructions and tourism.

The investment will help to improve the living standards of the people of Sierra Leone by providing them with access to better education, healthcare, and housing.

“It is important to note that there is no guarantee that I Beresford Victor Williams will win this June 24th elections, even though am facing some challenges from the incumbent president, Julius Maada Bio. But I did not win the elections; it is unlikely that I will be able to secure the investment from the institutional investors, so am calling on everyone to please come out in their numbers and cast their vote for me because I have a better plan for this country,” he said.
