29-year –old Abdul Salam Kamara alias Shakor, a driver, made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of the Pademba Road Court No.6 in Freetown and has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for stealing mobile phone valued $150 United States Dollars.
He was before the court on one count charge to wit larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Tuesday, 8th November 2022, at Guard Street in Freetown, did steal by trick one red coloured item S-15 android mobile phone valued $150 United States Dollars equivalent to one thousand nine hundred and fifty New Leones(1,950,00) property of Alex Kaikai
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded guilty.
The accused person was unrepresented and he pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.
