‘Zaingalay’ Bangura to make Minsk return against Guingamp

OCTOBER 23, 2014 By Sahr Morris Jnr.

Sierra Leone defender Umaru ‘Zaingalay’ Bangura is in line to make his return to the starting line-up of Dinamo Minsk against French side Guingamp in the UEFA Europa League tonight.

The center back, who was stretched-off during Sierra Leone’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, missed his club’s 1-2 away win over Dinamo Brest in the Belarus Premier League on Saturday.

Bangura’s Minsk are seeking their first point in Group K as they host the French club who have pulled themselves off the bottom of the French league following their weekend win over Lille, and following their 2-0 win over PAOK in the last round clash of the Europa league.

Minsk are at the bottom of the group with two defeats and must secure something in today’s match if they want to get any hope of going past the group stage.

Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone international could be a tricky obstacle for the French side to overcome after his impressive display in their defeat to Fiorentina.
