Scores of women from Street Life Organization yesterday matched to the Chinese Embassy to thank the Chinese government and people for their support in the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Sierra Leone’s Cultural Ambassador, Mariatu Kargbo, said the people recognized the contribution of China not only in the fight against Ebola but in other areas of development, hence thought it fit to say ‘thank you’.

China’s Ambassador to Sierra Leone, H.E. Zhao Yanbo, expressed appreciation for the move taken by the women, and noted that China and Sierra Leone have been best of friends spanning years.
