Agents of Western Union, which include Union Trust Bank (UTB) and First International Bank (FIB), have actualised the dream of their customers by dishing out prizes to winners of the ‘Better Life promotion’.

The handing over of the prizes including generators, sewing machines, computer laptops with printers, scanners and photocopiers, and two pieces of cotton material, took place last Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Charter House in Freetown.

32  customers benefitted from the promotion.

Manager of Charter House and advertising agent of Western Union, Osman Conteh, welcomed winners, who were filled with smiles, telling them that everyone has a dream  and has been actualised by Western Union.

“The objective of the promotion was to appreciate Western Union’s customers and ensure that some of them get some source of income that would make them self-employed,” he said.

Union Trust Bank’s representative, Mitona Andrews, congratulated winners and called on them to continue doing business with Western Union Money Transfer by sending and receiving monies from friends, loved ones and relatives at home and abroad.

She informed winners about an ongoing Ramadan promotion which will end on Thursday, June 29, 2017, across their various branches in the country.

FIB’s Eileen Nelson-Streeter, said they were giving out items for fasting to their customers, who send and receive money through Western Union money Transfer during the month of Ramadan.

She said they were putting smiles on the faces of customers to actualise their dreams and improve their lives with “Better Life” promotion.

“I did not believe the caller who told me that I have won a generator until when I came to receive the prize. I want to use this opportunity to thank Western Union for organising such raffle draws,” a winner said.

Chairmen of the ceremony, Daniel Moseray of SLBC/TV and Abdul Tejan-Cole alias Megadon, advised winners to make good use of their prizes. They urged them to continue doing business with Western Union Money Transfer from Union Trust Bank and First International bank, who have actualized their dreams.
