Former Welsh international Danny Gabbidon has hailed Sierra Leonean youngster Sullay Kaikai and believes the League One Player for October is good enough to make Allen Pardew’s first team at Selhurst Park.
Certainly Kaikai will be an option for manager Pardew in the future. Born by Sierra Leonean parents, Kaikai is currently on loan at Shrewsbury Town.
Since arriving from Crystal Palace he has been a key figure in the Shrewsbury team, netting four goals in as many games which saw him voted by the fans as League One Player of the Month for October.
Gabbidon, 36, told the South London Press this week that “Sullay is on loan at Shrewsbury and was the League One Player of the Month for October. If he keeps working hard he could break into the Palace side in the next couple of years.”
His excellent work rate has alerted Championship clubs, Preston, Charlton and Blackburn to the exciting 20-year-old.
