‘We can evangelise through drama’

- says Evangelist Yemi Adepoju

October 29, 2015 By Pastor Chris Osaretin

The Mount Zion Faith Ministries based in Nigeria, in collaboration with Children of Zion Pentecostal Prophetic Ministries International, has launched the first Christian Drama School in Freetown.

The event took place over the weekend at the Church’s premises at 80c Quarry, Off Bai Bureh Road, Kissy.

In her opening statement, the founding head Prophetess Sabatu Gobeh said the initiative of having a drama school was to serve as a means of preaching the gospel of Christ through entertainment, and also to help bring Christians to the edification of the resurrection power of Christ.

Deputy Director of Mount Zion Faith Ministries Nigeria, Evangelist Yemi Adepoju, also stressed that the drama school will foster an understanding of various ways, which they can use to win souls for Christ through the media.

He encouraged interested applicants to hurry now and gain admission into the drama school in order for them to help in the Christian race.

“It is also noted that the devil has been using the entertainment industry as a weapon to put the world into captivity by promoting cultism, prostitution, armed robbery, and causing an ill culture in our society. But we can fight back with the same entertainment industry,” he said.

In his concluding remarks, Evangelist Adepoju warned that Christians should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil, and that they should embrace the gospel for the coming of Christ is already here.
