Two dragged to court for throwing missiles at Mosque

52-year-old Fudiya Bangura and Isha Fudiya Komba, yesterday appeared before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh presiding over the Ross Road Court No.3 for allegedly throwing missiles at Masjird Fatima Zara located at 137 Fourah Bay Road in Freetown.

They were dragged to court by Sheikh Idrissa Kanu on two counts of throwing missiles, and insulting language contrary to the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965.

According to the particulars of offence, both accused Fudiya Bangura and Isha Fudiya Komba on Thursday 24th December, 2019 at 137 Fourah Bay Road, Freetown, threw missiles at Masjid Fatima Zara Mosque and that they were also found using insulting language to the annoyance of Sheik Idrissa Kanu with intent to provoke him to commit a breach of the peace.

Lawyer Randy S. Bangura who represented that both accused asked for adjournment of the matter which was granted.
