The Sierra Leone Lawn Tennis Association (SLTA) is currently in negotiation with the management of Hill Station tennis court for the court to be handed over to the association for development.

The is not the first time both parties have engaged in talks over the court as during the leadership of former president Kelvin Kellie both parties failed to meet an agreement despite pressure from the association.

However, according to the association scribe’s Yayah Koroma, negotiation is ongoing and that as soon as an agreement is reached they would inform the International Tennis Federation for developmental work on the court.

“Negotiation is going on with the management of Hill Station tennis court to handover the court to us so that we will develop it, and as soon as the court is handover (sic) to us we will inform the international body who already have a project for us,” Koroma said.

In a related development, the SLTA scribe revealed that the association has settled their debt with ITF for 2012 and 2013, which will now enable them to benefit from the international body.
