Six Klimax Club members remanded for alleged murder By Yusufu S. The accused persons are preliminarily being investigated by Magistrate Mohamed Santigie Bangura for the offences of conspiracy to murder and murder contrary to law. The prosecution alleges that the accused persons on diverse dates between Friday, 6th and Saturday, 14th July, 2018, in Freetown conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit murder. Also, it is alleged that the accused persons with other unknown persons on Saturday, 14th July 2018, at No. 20 Sorie Town, Gloucester Village, Western Mountain Rural, murdered one Albert Madison Bio. State Prosecutor A.J.M. Bockarie, pleaded with the magistrate to adjourn the matter so that they would have time to hold a conference with their witnesses before they testify. One of the defense counsel, A.S. Marrah submitted that the accused persons had been in custody for over two months, thus urging the prosecution and magistrate to expedite the investigation. Magistrate Santigie Bangura, presiding at the Freetown Magistrates’ No. 1, adjourned the matter to Thursday, 27th September. Meanwhile, police said in a press conference on Monday that they have issued warrants of arrest for seven executive members of the Klimax Club as well as twenty-two initiates that are still at-large. “We have widened our nets much wider than before so as to catch some of the initiates as well as the executive members,” said head of Crime Services, Brima Jah.
