‘Crespo’ & ‘Adriano’ Kamara end Swedish league on high

Sierra Leonean duo, Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara and Alhaji ‘Adriano’ Kamara both ended their season on a high with 24 goals between them in the Swedish topflight league, the Allvenskan. The pair registered their names on the score-sheet in the final day of the season.

‘Crespo’ Kamara scored a first half hat-trick within seven minutes and fired Örebro to a 5-2 win over Häcken, taking the 21-year-old striker’s goal tally for the season to 14 from 12 games.

The former Mighty Blackpool and FC Kallon striker opened his scoring in the 35th minute to level the score line to 1-1, and four minutes later, he made it 2-1 before completing his hat-trick in the 42nd minute, thus making his hat-trick the fastest in the millennium.

Elsewhere, Norrköping’s ‘Adriano’ Kamara proved Djurgården wrong for failing to sign him when they had the opportunity to do so as he scored the opening goal just five minutes into the match in their 1-1 draw with Djurgården. The goal saw ‘Adriano’ Kamara ending his debut season in the Swedish topflight league with 10 goals.

Elsewhere in the Swedish First Division, midfielder Lansana Kamara was an unused sub in Umeå’s 1-0 home win over Ishmael Jorjor Koroma’s Nyköping. Also, midfielder Ibrahim Kallay played full time for IFK Luleå in their 0-4 home defeat to AFC United.

In the same division, striker Ibrahim Fofanah aka I.K. ended the season with just three goals and failed to score in Oskarshamns AIK’s 2-0 away defeat to Motala AIF FK, while striker Mohamed Buya Turay played for 75 minutes on his return from suspension as his side, Västerås SK FK held IF Sylvia to a 2-2 draw.

In Azerbaijan, midfielder Alfred ‘Zagalo’ Sankoh was substituted in the 36th minute as his Khazar Lankaran side registered a 2-1 win over Simurq. Julius Woobay played for 75 minutes to help Neftçi defeat Azal 4-0.

In China, defender Gibril Sankoh aka ‘Barrel’ helped Henan Jianye escape relegation after forcing Beijing Guoan to a goalless draw.

In Finland, Hassan ‘Milla’ Sesay’s Lahti secured a 2-0 win over Honka.

In the Portuguese second tier league, Ibrahim ‘Obreh’ Kargbo played for 57 minutes as his Atlético CP side trashed Sporting CP II.

In the English Championship, midfielder Mohamed ‘Medo’ Kamara continued to be missing in action as he was left out of Bolton Wanderers’ squad who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Norwich City. But full-back Mustapha Dumbuya played full time in Notts County’s 1-2 defeat to Walsall.

Also, winger Abdulai Bell-Baggie was an unused sub in Tranmere Rovers’ 2-2 draw with Stevenage.
