Sierra Leone youngster, Sullay Kaikai, has spoken of his delight in returning back to English Premiership side Crystal Palace from his recent loan spell with Cambridge United.
The 19-year-old spoke to Palace TV about his recent loan spell away at Cambridge, his return to Palace and his immediate inclusion in the team’s U-21 squad.
The young forward said his loan spell with the English League II side played a positive role in his development as a player.
“I thought it was great, I enjoyed it a lot,” he said. “I played a lot of games but again I am very happy to be back.”
On his return, Kaikai was featured in the Palace U-21 Professional Development League 2 play-off semi-final defeat to Huddersfield.
Despite getting his name on the score-sheet which forced the match to extra-time, Kaikai was unable to fire the team to the final as they suffered a 3-5 extra time defeat.
