The Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars has dropped one place down in the latest FIFA world rankings released by the world football governing body, FIFA.
The rankings published last Thursday September 3 show Sierra Leone falling from 104 to 105 in the world football chart.
Sierra Leone recorded a total points of 304 (303.69), the same they registered during the August rankings. However, the team maintained its 30th position in the African rankings.
The rankings are determined by ranking points which are on offer in each international fixture the countries’ national associations play with the number of points awarded depending on aspects such as the importance of the match, the strength of the opposition, and the strength of the confederation.
