World football legends, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo de Lima and Didier Drogba will appear in a match against poverty to help boost Ebola recovery efforts.

The trio will today (Monday) appear in the 12th Annual Match Against Poverty at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Etienne, France.

The match will see some of the world’s biggest football names of past and present playing against a St-Etienne All Stars Team to help boost Ebola recovery efforts.

Clarence Seedorf, Edwin van der Sar, Eric Abidal, Fabien Barthez and Youri Djorkaeff are just some of the legends who will be appearing in the game.

According to a statement published on the United Nations Development Programme’s website, two thirds of the match proceeds will support the charity’s work in the hardest-hit countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
