In their quest to make communication and their products easily available to their customers across the country, Orange Telecom, yesterday (Tuesday October 8th) launched partners with the National Petroleum Sierra Leone (NP-SL).
The partnership would enable Orange to have boots in all NP-SL filling stations to provide services to their customers.
Speaking during the partnership event at NP-SL Filling Station at Congo Cross in Freetown, Orange Telecom Regional Sales Manager West One, Ahmed Mansaray, said the partnership was not only going to satisfy their customers, but also NP-SL.
He said the partnership will enable Orange Telecom to establish boots at all NP-SL filling stations across the country to provide services to their customers including Sim registration, cashing and sending of Orange money and other services.
In her statement, the Proprietor of the Congo Cross NP-SL Filling Station, Patal Juxon-Smith, said the partnership was a great one that will help customers going to her station to refill their tanks ,access orange products.
She said NP-SL is the best petroleum company in the country and that partnering with one of the biggest telecommunication network providers in Sierra Leone was a welcoming development.
Bollor Sesay, Orange Telecom Head of Direct Sales said they have noticed that their products were not easily accessible to their customers, which prompted the decision to partner with NP-SL.
He said they have already built boots in some other NP-SL filling stations in Freetown, noting that they are going to do same in other part of the country.
He said they have previously launched two hundred tricycles that are moving around to provide services to their customers.
