Orange Foundation presents set of baby packs to lactating mothers

 Orange  Foundation has  last week Thursday, June 17, presented the first set of baby packs to lactating mothers at the Kroo Bay community in Freetown.

The presentation was done during Orange Telcom weekly visit to the maternal screening centre at the Kroobay Community.

During the visit, several screening tests such as blood sugar, malaria , MMHG, HIV and Covid  were done on pregnant women, children within community.

The project is part of Orange Foundation’s commitment to support deprived communities through it Safeguarding Maternal Health Project in partnership with ICAP and the Ministry of Health.

The presentation of the first five baby packs was made to five lactating mothers at the screening centre in the presence of community stakeholders and the Paramount Chief for Kroo Bay area.

The lactating mothers thanked  Orange Foundation for their timely intervention and  touching the lives of the women in their community.
