Murder matter adjourned for prosecution witness to testify

Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Court No. 1 has adjourned the murder matter of four years old Princess Kallon to the 24th March, 2021 for the prosecution to take their next witness.

The four years old was alleged to have been murdered by one Bernadette Yeama Solomon who is currently before the court on preliminary investigation.

It was alleged that on Friday, 25th December, 2020 at No. 40 Main Road, Waterloo ,Western Rural District, the accused physically assaulted four years old Princess Kallon, which led to her death.

According to report filed by Inspector Philip Kargbo attached to the Traffic Division, Waterloo Police Station, Foday, who is a relative of the deceased, reported a case of road accident that led to the death of the girl.

He said after investigation they established that the report was on the contrary and thereafter forwarded the matter to the Criminal Investigations Department for further investigations.

He said the medical report issued to police by the government pathologist, Dr. Owiss Koroma, it was stated that the four years old suffered multiple blunt force injuries with several physical assault.

Matter was adjourned to 24th March 2021.
