December 16, 2015 By Ibrahim Tarawallie

Managing Director of Premier Media Consultancy, marketers of Moneygram service in Sierra Leone, has stated that the brand stands tall among the lot for being the safest, fastest and most reliable money transfer agency worldwide.

Speaking during the first draw of MoneyGram’s ongoing Christmas promotion at the National Stadium last Friday, Dr. Julius Spencer said the service enables people to send and receive money instantly from 143,000 agents in 170 countries globally.

He stated that the promotion was meant to reward their loyal customers who have been sending and receiving money over the years using the MoneyGram service via United Bank for Africa, Rokel Commercial Bank, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, FBN Bank, Afro International and Guaranty Trust Bank, among others.

He added that two more draws will be held on the 20th and 30th December and that the numbers and names of those that send or receive money through MoneyGram will be part of the draw.

“Let me encourage people to join the MoneyGram family to better their chances of winning,” he urged.

A representative from Afro International, Beresford Williams, spoke about the role of financial institutions who are in the business of sending and receiving money, adding that the promotion aims at giving back some of the profits to people who use the MoneyGram service.

Head of Foreign Exchange at FBN Bank, Jane Kamara, said MoneyGram transactions are fast and reliable and ensure maximum satisfaction to customers.

She said customers who transact business with FBN Bank using the MoneyGram service experience no difficulties in receiving and sending money to their loved ones or partners.

The lucky winners at the draw were: Kinnie Base Jigba and Kabanda Samson – Plasma television; Musu Conteh and Shaka Fornah – refrigerator; Mamadu Sowe and Abu Bakarr Mansaray – Home Theatre; Yatta Kamara, Ramata Kanneh, Nick Mchugh, Kadiatu B.
