Sierra Leonean midfielder, Mohamed ‘Medo’ Kamara’s Finnish club HJK Helsinki will now face Bulgarian club Stara Zagora in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Kamara played a pivotal role in Helsinki’s midfield as they progressed to the Europa League second qualifying round at the detriment of Lithuanian side FK Atlantas.

HJK Helsinki played to a 1-1 draw in their return leg last Thursday but advanced on a 3-1 aggregate after winning the first leg 2-0.

Kamara and his Finnish side will have to travel to Bulgaria for the first leg fixture at the Beroe Stadium on 14 July, before hosting their counterpart on Thursday, 21 July at their Sonera Stadium in Finland.

The former Bolton midfielder has already made 14 appearances this season for the Veikkausliiga leaders, scoring a goal.

Eighteen (18) clubs will enter the second qualifying round, joined by 48 winners from the first qualifying round.
