Sierra Leone and Bolton Wanderers midfielder, Mohamed ‘Medo’ Kamara could miss Saturday’s 2015 African Cup of Nations tie against Swaziland in Freetown.

The midfielder, who missed few of Bolton’s final matches in the Championship and also the first leg in Swaziland, trained with the national team on Wednesday and Thursday but coach Johnny McKinstry is uncertain whether the player will be fit in time for the weekend encounter.

“For the past two days he has engaged in physical fitness training and we hope he will be ready for Saturday. He is a quality player and a professional and knows when he is fit. So I cannot confirm now if he will be fit for Saturday, maybe he will start from the bench,” McKinstry said.

Kamara was pulled-off from the Barnsley game with a stomach complaint which seems to have healed up.
