Represented by its lawyer,Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has Yesterday appeared before Justice Bintu Alhadi, Justice Komba Kamanda and Justice Tonia Barnett at the Appeals Court of Sierra Leone.
The University was found wanting by the Justice Biobele Georgewill’s Commission of Inquiry (COI) that probed into the administration of the then President Ernest Bai Koroma government.
The Appellant, who was represented by lawyer I Kanneh, had earlier asked the court for a direction on how they should file in their synopsis.
Justice Bintu Alhadi noted that, the Appellant must file in their synopsis at the Registry on 24th May, 2021.
She also ordered the respondent to do the same by filing their synopsis to the Registry 7th June, 2021.
She adjourned the matter to the 14th June, 2021, for both counsel to do their oral submission
Meanwhile, the Judges unanimously directed both the Appellant and Respondent to prepare very well for their oral submission.
In another development, former President Erenest Bai Koroma was represented by J.F. Kamara before the Court to probe into his administration during his tenure as president from 2007 to 2018.
Justice Bintu Alhadi ordered that, the Appellant lawyer, J.F. Kamara, should file in his synopsis at the Registry on 31st May, 2021.
She also ordered the respondent to file in his synopsis at the Registry on 21st June, 2021.
She adjourned the matter to the 30th June, 2021, for both counsel to do their oral submission.
