Leone Stars opponent line up Uganda friendly

With barely a month to kick-start the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars Group F opponent, Ethiopia, has lined-up an international friendly with Uganda billed for June 3.

The Walias will play their Uganda opponent in Addis Ababa as part of their preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ghana.

According to Soccer Ethiopia, the Walias’ new head coach, Ashenafi Bekele, has already submitted a list of players to the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF), whose names will be revealed soon.

“The last international match the Walias played was against the Seychelles nine months ago,” Soccer Ethiopia reported.

Ethiopia is in Group F with Sierra Leone, Ghana and Kenya for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
