Lawyer Walker wanted by the police

AUGUST 23, 2014

Claudius K. Walker is a lawyer by profession and has been in active practice for many years now, but there are allegations that he has been defrauding his clients for which the Sierra Leone Police has stepped in “to put an end to his criminal activities” by declaring him wanted.

“Lawyer Walker has walked the path that has forced the SLP to place a Le10 million bounty on his head for anyone with vital information leading to his arrest,” a notice from the SLP states.

The police are accusing the lawyer of conspiracy to defraud and obtaining money by false pretences following a string of alleged fraudulent activities “that have caused unnecessary pain and suffering to his victims”.

The police could still not confirm whether the residential address of 34 Main Motor Road, Congo Cross given for lawyer Walker is anything to go by as he could not be traced on the said address and in the community where he has been residing since his return from the United Kingdom.

The warrant of arrest number for lawyer Walker is CID/HQ/2014 and is currently being displayed on several key public places including police stations and in the pages of newspapers with the police soliciting assistance from members of the public that would lead to his arrest.

Concord Times has learnt that since he got wind of plans to arrest him after a warrant has been issued out for him, lawyer Claudius K. Walker has been skillfully evading the police.

The police have vowed to nab the fugitive lawyer and make him answer for his crime.
