One Josephus Brown was yesterday remanded at the male Correctional Center on Pademba Road by Magistrate Mohamed Serray-Wurie of the Pademba Road Magistrates’ Court No.2 for allegedly stealing Le10 million from complainant Mohamed Lamin.
The accused was arraigned on one count of the larceny in a dwelling house, contrary to Section 13(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused on an unknown date speculated to be between 1st and 31st July, 2014, at No.4 Jones Street in Freetown, entered the dwelling house of the complainant and stole the aforementioned amount.

At this juncture, the magistrate asked the accused whether it was he who took the money, to which he said he only took two hundred thousand Leones.
