Lahoud faces four weeks on side line

By Sahr Morris Jr. May 12, 2015

Sierra Leone and Philadelphia Union midfielder, Michael Lahoud, could be on the side-line for at least four to six weeks after he suffered a hip flexor strain sustained against Toronto last Saturday in the U.S. Major League Soccer.

The 28-year-old was stretched off just five minutes into Union’s defeat to Toronto and the doctor’s preliminary results of his injury indicated that he can be out for over a month.

It is now certain that Lahoud will miss his team’s matches against Whitecaps, DC United on May 18 and New York Red Bulls on May 24.
