Former Sierra Leone international Kei Kamara provided an assist and found the back of the net in CF Montreal’s 4-3 Major League Soccer victory against Toronto on Sunday.

With the huge support of their fans at the BMO Stadium, Toronto took an early lead through Federico Bernardeschi whiles Lorenzo Insigne double the score in the seventh minute.

But, Kei Kamara and his Montreal responded with goals from Kamal Miller in the 19th minute and Dorde Mihailovic in the 21st minute before the ex-Leone Stars forward gave the visitors the lead in the 43rd minute.

The match was pushed far away from the home side after Kei Kamara assisted Alistair Johnston who drilled home the fourth in the 54th minute before Insigne reduced the deficit from the penalty spot in the 90th minute for the home side.

The goal was Kei Kamara’s sixth goal and six assist of the campaign from 27 appearances and has moved his all-time MLS career goals to 136.

Montreal (16-9-4) became the first MLS team to erase a two-goal deficit and lead at halftime since Toronto did it against New York City FC in July 2015 and are in second place in the standings on 49 points. Montreal will next take on Columbus Crew at Saputo Stadium on Saturday.
