Kamarainba’s judgment postponed to February 14

Justice Samuel Omodele Taylor has deferred sittings on the judgment for the former 2018 presidential candidate for the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray and  his co-accused, Marion Arouni, to Tuesday 14th February, 2023.

The sittings was supposed to have  taken  place on Thursday, 9th February, but according to the State Counsel,Umu Summary, the judge had an emergency to attend to hence decided to adjourn the sittings to Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

The accused persons were granted bail on Tuesday, 7th September 2021 by the Sexual Offences Model Court on 8 counts of cexual penetration, meeting a child for sexual purpose and conspiracy among others

The two accused were both before the Sexual Offences Model Court presided by Justice Samuel Omodele Taylor on eight count sexual offence charges involving a minor, the accused persons made their first appearance on the 18th August 2021 at the Sexual Offences Model Court in Freetown.
