Isatu “Potho” donates to mosques in Koya Chiefdom

State Registered Nurse based in the United States of America (USA), Isatu Potho Kamara, has donated bags of rice, prayer mats, water kettles and some amount of money to one hundred (100) mosques in Koya Chiefdom, Port Loko district, in a way to help Muslims  perform their Lailatu al-Qadr,

During the donation in the chiefdom, Imams from various mosques offered special prayers for Isatu “Potho Kamara.

Donating the items on behalf of Isatu Potho Kamara, Alfred Kargbo, stated that the donation was a way of  gracing the Holy Night of the Lailatu al-Qadri and also to help mosques that cannot afford, to celebrate the Holy Night.

He said every Ramadan, Madam Isatu “Potho” has been providing food stuff, some amount of money, together with prayer mats to Muslims in the chiefdom. He recalled that in April, she also donated items to different set of people in the chiefdom.

He continued that Madam Kamara thanked all those who supported her financially that made the donation successful.

Receiving the items, Sheik Yusif Kamara of Masjid Nastaheen in Malai Soko Village, Koya Chiefdom, thanked Madam Isatu Potho Kamara for the timely donation, adding that since the Month of Ramadan started, Madam Kamara was the only one that has been donating food stuff and prayer mats to mosques in the chiefdom.

He therefore recites prayers for Madam Kamara and therefore called on other well-wishers to follow the foot-step of Madam Kamara.

Another beneficiary from Masjid Raheem in Blama Junction, Sheik Mohamed Conteh, also thanked Madam Isatu Potho Kamara for the goodies and also called on her to continue with good work.
