Former APC aspirant provides water facility for banana water community

Former aspirant for the parliamentary symbol under the All Peoples Congress (APC) in Constituency 129 continue to carry out his developmental work in the constituency.

Lamin A. Kamara received a thunderous applause and appreciation on Friday 8th March, 2019 from residents of the Banana Water community for providing clean drinking water facility easily accessible- a facility that has been a major challenge over the years.

A resident, Mrs. Yeanoh Campbell said: “We will be ever grateful to Mr. Kamara for coming to our aid at a time we needed the facility. Over the years, our kids have been going helter shelter in search of water, but with the swift intervention of Mr. Kamara, our children can no longer go late to school.”

The community Chief, Chief Yabom Posseh Bangura, thanked the former parliamentary aspirant for coming to their aid and promised to ensure maintenance of the facility at all times

Also, Councilor for Ward 438 in Constituency 129, Mr. Thomas Collins, described Mr. Kamara as a young Philanthropist. who believes in taking development to the people. He noted that the ease of the water crisis in the community will go down on record.

In his short statement, Mr. Lamin A. Kamara said the love for his people prompted him to go the extra mile and make available to facility for the peole.

“This is not the time for politics, but development. Presently my focus is on development rather than politics. I still have more years to come back to you to talk about political issues,” he said.

Few weeks ago, Mr. Kamara rehabilitated the Congo Town Bridge foot walk as the people were finding it difficult to navigate the narrow bridge. He is also constructing a bridge for the people of Tengbeh Town community.
