DHL Sierra Leone helps to welcome children back to school

April 23, 2015

In a continuous show of social responsibility to its community, DHL Sierra Leone recently assisted the staff members of St. Anthony Primary School as they welcomed back children to school after a long break due to the recent Ebola outbreak in the country.

The St. Anthony Primary School is located in the Syke street area of Freetown and caters for 700 students in total.

DHL Sierra Leone senior management team led by country manager, Basil Akinbinu, Arnold Doherty, Francess Sawyerr, Mustapha Sandy, Brima Koroma, Gibrilla Mansaray and Charles Thornton spent time at the school grounds welcoming children as they returned to school.

They also made donations of books, pencil kits, school backpack and rulers as a way of encouraging the children after months of nationwide school closure.
