Orebro and Sierra Leone striker, Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara, is hoping to soon return to action in the Swedish Allsvenskan league as he continues his recovery from an injury that has sidelined him for over six weeks.
With the Swedish league in its third week since it commenced, there is no estimated time for the forward to return back in the game but he believes he will soon make his comeback.
“There is no stipulated time for my return but I hope to be back on the field soon,” he told Swedish NA media.
The forward, who had undergone an x-ray and told it is “a sub bodily injury”, is presently undergoing rehabilitation exercises at the gym and he admitted he is yet to commence field work.
“I am doing water training and with the bicycles. But I have not started to jog or run,” said the striker. “The pain is in the right leg and I cannot run at all yet. But the doctor has said that it is not a dangerous injury, only that it would take eight to ten weeks to heal. But I expect to be able to participate again.”
The former FC Kallon forward finished as Orebro’s top goal scorer last season but has already missed their 1-1 draw with Norrkoping, 2-0 defeat to IFK Göteborg and Falkenberg, and could also miss their match with GIF Sundsvall on Monday April 20.
