Sierra Leone striker, Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara on Monday night fired Örebro to another victory in the Swedish Allsvenskan league. On the same night, Kamara’s fellow countryman, Khalifa Jabbie, scored his first goal in the Turkish Super Lig.

Kamara’s Örebro defeated Djurgården 0-3 as they climbed to sixth position in the log, whilst in Turkey, Jabbie’s Balikesirspor were forced to a 2-2 draw by Rizespor.

Twenty-one-year-old Kamara scored his team’s opening goal in the 19th minute as he registered his 11th goal of the season in 17 matches – of which he started only 12.

The goal moved the former FC Kallon striker as the team’s top scorer so far this season despite missing the first eight league matches following a knee injury he incurred during Örebro’s last friendly match before the start of the season.

Before Kamara’s withdrawal in the 89th minute, teammates Pode and Holmberg sealed the win for Örebro with their respective strikes in the 55th and 86th minute respectively.

In Turkey, Jabbie earlier got his name on the referee’s book in the 35th minute before scoring his first goal in the Super Lig in the 56th minute to give the away side a 1-2 lead. However, Holosko’s 79th minute striker levelled things up for the home side.

The other Sierra Leonean player who was in action on Monday night was Ibrahim ‘Marcel’ Koroma whose Varberg Bios side suffered a 2-1 defeat to GIF Sundsvall in the Swedish Superrettan.
