The Camp Canada Athletics Club are gearing up for the 4th edition of their annual Inter-club athletes meet at the Trade Centre complex, Dock Yard.
The three days meet, which is sponsored by Bukum Pure Drinking Water Company, is scheduled to take place later this month.
According to one of the organisers, Martin Wusha-Conteh, the participating clubs have already been divided into four houses – Arnold Morgan House (Yellow), Raymond Samuel-Lewis & Ishmael House (Green), Bukum Pure Drinking Water House (Blue) and Amara Taylor-Kamara House (Red).
Wusha-Conteh said the essence of the event is to identify young talents and prepare them for club competitions, including the annual Boxing Day Athletics meet in December.
“This year’s meet I believe will be unique and well contested because this will be the first big competition for the athletes since the country was declared Ebola free nation. Also we will be having invitation relay for radio stations,” Wusha-Conteh said.
