Beach Volleyball: Salone engages Guinea in title decider today

The Sierra Leone male and female beach volleyball teams will engage their Guinean rivals in what has been described as a crunch title decider in the CAVB Beach Volleyball Continental Cup-Zone II, Pool 3 2016 Olympic Games qualifiers.

The opening day of the tournament saw the host nation, Guinea’s teams One and Two male and female defeating their Guinea Bissau opponents in all set matches, giving the host a 4-0 win.

Sierra Leone also recorded a similar victory yesterday (Tuesday March 31) against Guinea Bissau.

The absence of Mali leaves Sierra Leone and Guinea to battle for the gold medal as they have both secured the two qualifying spots to the next round of the tournament.
