APC aspirant promises good leadership

Ruling All People’s Congress (APC) parliamentary aspirant has promised to provide good leadership, if given the symbol to contest the March 7 elections in Constituency 129.

Ackmed Sheriff, a strong member of the APC UK branch, stated that lack of good leadership has been the major stumbling block to development in various communities; particularly at constituency level.

He noted that development would never come as long as those representing the people lack the necessary leadership qualities.

“The people need a good leader that can meet with them face to face, thereby involving them in policy making. This is what is lacking in some of our leaders in the country,” he said

Mr. Sheriff said the reason that prompted him to return home and partake in the country’s politics was to save the people of constituency 129 from leadership vacuum.

He said he would soon prepare his declaration letter for constituency 129 to be presented to the national stakeholders’ of the APC.

“I have years of experiences added with vast knowledge in travelling around the world, comparing and contrasting the way things should be done. I have an extensive knowledge of management and leadership experience to lead, manage, control any project, job and community at any given time,” Mr. Sheriff boasted.

Mr. Sheriff was in the country in April and made a familiarization visit to various youth groups, elders and some cross section of Constituency 129 executive members.

The APC/UK strongman also made a visit to the APC National Secretariat, where he met with the APC Tax Force and disable wings and assured them of massive change in the constituency, if given the chance to contest.

Mr. Sheriff is a Masters holder in Human Resource Management and BSC. Hons in Business Management at the University of Westminster and Plymouth respectively.
