Sierra Leone and IFK Norrköping striker, Alhaji ‘Andriano’ Kamara has already started an intensive individual pre-season training as he eyes new goals in the upcoming Swedish Allvenskan league.
The 20-year-old, who would be marking his second season in the Swedish topflight league with IFK Norrkoping, told Swedish journalists that “a day off is not part of my schedule”.
“After the season I went to the U.S. where I spent 21 days to meet relatives and friends. But I went to the gym every single day and on my return to Sweden, I trained on Christmas Eve too,” Kamara said.
“I always feel good whenever I’m training and this season I want to keep on doing my best to achieve a lot. Last season was good for me but I want to perform more than what I did last season.”
Kamara does not only do physical training but he also runs much extra with the ball and at the gym, which has helped him to be undeniably impressive with both agility, explosiveness and strength.
Last season the striker scored 10 goals in his 29 outing with the Swedish outfit and he is now looking forward to surpass that amount.
He said: “I had a slow start with the team but as the season went by, I was able to secure a starting place and scoring goals and helping the team to escape from relegation. I want to score more goals this term with more opportunities.”
