Popular humanitarian and Serbian consul to Sierra Leone, Dr. Adonis Abboud, has supported the cleaning of a water way and construction of a bridge at Ward 386, Constituency 109 in the Dwarzark community, west of Freetown.

According to Dr. Abboud, he had discovered during a visit to the community that residents lived in an unhygienic condition with garbage scattered all over the place, coupled with the absence of  potable water, hence his move to arrest the situation.

He pledged to provide the community with a borehole, dustbin to sustain hygienic condition, as well as construct a bridge that would make the community easily accessible.

He called on the private sector to come onboard and assist in the project to maintain proper hygiene in communities around Freetown.

Councillor Sheka Dumbuya of Ward 386 commended Dr. Abboud for his support, and called on others to do likewise.
