Charles Kamara made his first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of the Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown for alleged murder
The accused person is standing trial on one count to wit murder contrary to Section 4 of the Offense Against the Person Act of 1861 and murder contrary to Section 1 of the Offense Against the Person Act 1861 as repealed and replaced by Section 1(a) of the Abolition of Death Penalty Act of 2021, Act No.6 of 2022.
Police alleged on the charge sheet on Monday 16 October 2023, at Rogbangba, Hastings, the accused conspired together with other persons unknown to murder Bai Kamara.
The matter was not proceeded due to the absence of the witness
State counsel J.S Trucker sought for an adjourned date and Magistrate Mark Ngegba adjourned the matter to the 30th November 2023.
