ACC investigator says Samura Kamara was not a party to procurement process

The Anti-Corruption witness in the ongoing corruption trial of Dr.Samura and three others have told defense lawyers during cross examination that Samura Kamara was not a party to any procurement process leading to the refurbishment of the New York Chancery Building.

He also told the court that  Dr. Samura Kamara, who is the  fourth accused person, was not a member of any procurement committee.

The defense  on Monday, April 4  concluded cross-examination of the ACC investigator, Joseph Bockarie Noah at the Freetown High Court No. 1, presided by Justice Adrian Fisher.

The witness, however, noted that the fourth accused was part of the process leading to the award of contract to Fairfield Construction Associate.

He said they conducted background check on Fairfield Construction Associate during the course of their investigation.

The matter was adjourned to Wednesday, 6th April,2022.
