15th prosecution witness testifies in DJ Clef’s murder matter

The 15thprosecution witness in the DJ Clef murder trial, Detective Police Constable Kadiatu Kamara 9338 (DPC), attached to the Family Support Unit of the  Aberdeen Police Station, yesterday testified against Mbamba Moiforay, Foday Amara Kamara and Avril Oredolah Renner. The trio is accused by the state to have murdered David Sydney Buckle alias DJ Clef at the Aberdeen resident of the first accused on Friday, 22 May, 2015.

In her testimony before Justice Alusine Sesay at the Freetown High Court, DPC 9338 Kamara stated that on 30 May, 2015 while on duty, one Sydney Buckle reported that his son, DJ Clef, had gone missing.

She said she obtained statement from him and later from both the first and third accused persons – Moiforay and Renner.

She explained that the first and third accused persons were cautioned and interrogated, and that they subsequently affixed their tomb print on their statement.

Their statements were tendered as exhibits Q1-10 and R1-15 to form part of the court’s record.

The accused persons were arraigned on two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and murder contrary to law.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused on Friday, 22 May, 2015 murdered the deceased at Off Johnson Street, Aberdeen.

The matter continues on 24 May, 2016.
