The song was produced by Tunexx, a Nigerian music producer under Sugar Entertainment and it’s a fusion of afro-beat overpowered by Sheriff’s sweet and melodious voice.
The track is a love song that was inspired by every relationship that the diva has been in throughout her life. In a short communication with Sheriff, she describes the song as: “This song simply describes the way I love.”
Her first single was “Naughty” a duet with Emmerson, and she’s currently working on her upcoming album which will be out in the summer of 2016.
“Mamie Na Power” is dedicated to all the strong women out there fighting to stay on top of their game. Sheriff currently lives in Freetown after living for a while in Turkey.
