SLPP MP warns ‘more timers’

January 28, 2016  By Ibrahim Jaffa Condeh

Hon. Member of Parliament representing Constituency 85 in the Moyamba District under the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has cautioned those calling for more time for President Ernest Bai Koroma to stop the antics.

Hon. Veronica Sesay was speaking in Parliament during debates on the presidential address to the House last December.

“President Ernest Bai Koroma as a peaceful and law abiding citizen, intends to spend his departure from the highest seat of office in a happy mood,” she said.

She stated that the main opposition party, SLPP, is strongly against the propagation of ‘more time’ and urged youth flying the issue to desist lest they put the state into chaos.

The lawmaker also lamented the state of lawlessness among youths in the country, which according to her has considerably increased in recent years, adding that there was every need to ensure that lawbreakers face the full force of the law.
