Sierra Leone midfielder cum-defender, David Simbo, is set to make his debut in the Sudanese Premier League as his side, Al Hilal Al Sudani, will face Ittihad Was Madani today in Khartoum.
The 25-year-old, who last December signed a one-and-half year deal with the Sudanese outfit, said he can’t wait to get his first official node for his new club.
He said: “It is nice to be here, so far I love everything and just want to get started. Our pre-season in Dubai was great and it helps me to know much about the ambition of the team and to know my teammates.”
The former Mighty Blackpool defender earlier said his move to Sudan will also increase his chances of getting back into the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars’ first team squad.
