Sierra Leone striker, Sam Obi Metzger is amongst two other international players that could sign a deal with Indonesia Super League (ISL) side, PSM Makassar.
Metzger was one of three foreign players that participated in coach Assegaf Razak’s selection team match alongside Spaniard Ruben Martinez Granja – who began his career in Barcelona’s football academy, La Masia. The other player is Italian Raffaele Simone.
Coach Razak said they are open to any player who wants to join their team.
“Foreign players are auditioning today his name Ruben from Spain. We are certainly open to any player who wants to join the team,” Razak told the Indonesian press.
PSM Makassar was founded on 2 November 1915 as Makassar Voetbal Bond (MVB). They are considered as one of the oldest football clubs in Indonesia and South East Asia.
