President of the National Olympic Committee of Sierra Leone (NOC-SLE), Dr. Patrick Coker, on Wednesday expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the head coach of the Sierra Leone Fencing Association at the just concluded international coaching course in Budapest, Hungary.
Coach Aiah Ibrahim Mbawa returned home with good grades after three months of international coaching course which attracted over 10 other coaches from other nations.
Receiving Mbawa’s certificate at his Howe Street office, Dr. Coker said: “I am to see you made great progress and you were amongst the best participants in the training.”
The NOC-SLE boss also expressed his delight by the commitment and zest of Mbawa to spread the knowledge gained to others in the country.
“I am also happy you are so willing to spread the knowledge gained to others back home which is going to be a plus for us and your Association. Hope you can succeed in this, once again congratulations,” Dr. Coker said.
