One of the country’s leading financial and infrastructural development partners under President Koroma’s Agenda for Prosperity, Nectar (NSBT) which manages the Queen Elizabeth II terminal, on Saturday August 2oth, 2017, donated relief items to over 600 victims of Monday 14th August’s flooding in the Kissy and Cline Town areas.

At a short ceremony at the company’s quay office, Nectar’s Managing Director; Jim Page, said the donation, however humble, was their contribution to emergency relief, and an indication of NSBT’s identification with the community in which they operate.

The aid, he said, was for the needy in performance of their corporate social responsibility.

The donation consisted of 100 25kg bags of rice, 100 gallons of cooking oil, 100 tarpaulins, 200 bundles of water, boxes of maggi, cartoons of sugar and drinking buckets.

Member of Parliament representing the constituency, Rosaline Smith, called NSBT a good neighbor that has helped the community with fire engines, school, among several others.
